Question Color bleed on 2nd hand Venom unbound

Hello all... I am a new member at these wonderful forums, but have been reading them for quite a while now. I am not, however, new to statue collecting

My latest pickup is the Venom unbound to go with my Koto Spidey. I got it for a good price, but low-and-behold there is quite a bit of color bleed from the dark blue of the suit on the white eyes and white spider logo both on chest and back. This seems to have happened because to person who shipped it did not replace the bag over venom and the blue paint bled all over the Styrofoam inside, and then transferred to the white parts of the statue during shipping

I figured this could probably be cleaned (?) but I'm wondering what the best way to go about treating this would be and I know you guys know your $h*t!

Thanks,

Nugz

Try using a white eraser very lightly if that dosent do it just get a thin brush and acrylic paint over it.

I denoted that the piece was second hand in the title so that Koto doesn't get unfairly labelled for your seller's mistake. I know you spell it out but I don't want anyone who doesn't take the time to read your post to unfairly judge Koto.

Welcome to the forum and I hope that you get the issue resolved to your satisfaction.

imo this is Koto's fault unless the seller painted the statue the paint should have never run. Koto's should of sealed the paint at the factory

Statues come packaged in the plastic bags to avoid friction with the styrofoam. If the seller was negligent in repackaging the statute in the same manner intended by the producer how can Koto be responsible? Thats like me blaming Honda for my car dying despite never ever changing the oil.....

if its just the white parts, seems like it would be a pretty easy touch up with white paint. just make sure you seal it afterwards
