I opted for the CC version because whenever I look at it, I get the feeling that that is what I remember seeing in the film.....if we are talking about the eyes, technically both versions have it wrong based on the screenshots at the bottom of the post, but you can kind of see where CC was trying to go. Primes eye just looks better because of the taxidermy eye look, but its not "correct" either. I agree with others talking about the inorganic paint job on P1 is just not very realistic, complicated, yes, detailed, yes, just doesnt look like something a real animal would have. It also really bothers me that they chose to make the feet and hands blue....its not that way in the film....

this just seems alittle lazy, the white lines arent thick enough, the whole midsection just does not look good in my opinion.

The CC blue paint just looks more like animal patterning and does strike my mind as odd like the P1 does. They both have their plusses and minuses.

here are some 4k screens of baby blue.....

Ím more a fan of JP 1 than JW , IMO CC blue looks really cool at least in above pictures and the body paint looks more closer to film references. Eye painting looks good too. Of course, If its eyes could have been like Raptor bust 1:1 would´ve been a total win.

Yeah why not clip my original post and take it out of context.

As i said REGARDLESS of accuracy the fact is the CC version isn't even up to their own proto standards....that's the issue. Accuracy is a moot point if they can't even deliver a quality product lol.

Youre clearly are a big CC fan and happy to defend them to the hilt. So good for you man, i hope you're happy with your products from CC.

I already said the piece didn't turn out as well as we hoped(nor did the P1), we were just discussing the eye design, not "defending" anything. Put your bias away and read the posts.
