Broken Statue question

I recieved a statue that was broken during shipment today. It was insured and bought off ebay not using paypal though. Whats the best route to take here?

First you need to contact the seller right away and let him know what happened. Any good seller will work with you to get this resolved. You'll probably have to file an insurance claim. If it was shipped USPS you'll need to go to the Post Office with the broken item and the package it was mailed in.

Zurb is right on. You should immediately notify the seller of the situation.

You will need to download and complete PS Form 1000 from the USPS site. Attach all the invoices and payment documentation. They will keep the item along with the shipping packaging intact and notify you within 90 days whether or not they will pay up.
