I'm upset he's not turning up, but you know, such things are unavoidable sometimes, and things do crop up. The organisers do try their best to get things going

My disappointment is that Lena can't make Adelaide lol. Its too near to exams and I have already spent far too much going interstate this year for various things to afford/justify going to Brisnova for her too. :/ There goes my TSCC duo photo with her and Summer Glau

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau would be an awesome replacement, as would Charles Dance. It's a shame that both Emilia Clarke and Sean Bean had to decline

I was already disappointed that both Tom Savini and Michael Rooker pulled out, but Dinklage was even worse. Before the cancellations, the line up was looking like the best one ever for an Adelaide con.

I feel for the Supanova people, it's a real shame.

they mentioned on FB that they are trying for a Stark or a Lannister, maybe if they cant get one they would go for Rose but I think the problem is that most people wouldnt see her as an adequate replacement for Peter. I certainly wouldnt.

We're certainly trying the best we can to find an adequate replacement but it's pretty tough this close to the event.

It's still a fine line-up but for those who specifically wanted to see/meet Peter Dinklage, I understand their disappointment.

I also wanted to let people know that Ashley Wood will be releasing a Supanova Adelaide exclusive action figure from his company 3A Toys! Anyone who knows 3A Toys products knows how "in-demand" the figs are and how quickly they sell out.

The Isobelle Pascha Ohala Bear figure will only be available at Supanova Adelaide and has been produced in extremely limited numbers! It will be available for sale at Ashley's table and retails at $100.00.

Here's a pic of the figure's box-art -

Thanks Royd,

I understand the frustration that Nova staff must go through when this stuff happens.

As someone who has also grown up with a disability I was so looking forward to meeting Peter and just thanking him for I guess "making it easier for the next guy" who wants to work in Hollywood and not be defined by what is perceived to be a disability.

I'll get to have this talk with him at some point, unfortunately just not in 3 weeks time.

Leinil Yu's art dealer tells me he will be charging $500 for a bust shot with copic monochromatic colours.

Woof. This comic art game is quickly becoming a rich man's hobby.
