Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

True, True... I agree, I'm from the Motor City & I'm so glad the Lions are playing great.. The Tigers too. And my Rogue ex. is coming in the next few days.. I'm enjoying the moment for the time being. Super Bowl & World Series... I can dream right?..

I hope you're right and I'm wrong. I'll be rooting for them to win every game. I've been an avid Detroit Lions fan my whole life and unfortunately, it's been a series of disappointments.

My prediction is based on the following:

1. They have one of the toughest schedules in the NFL.

2. A weak running game.

3. An injury prone quarterback playing behind a mediocre offensive line.

In response to your points.

1. This ain't the same ol' Lion's. They should've been 8-8 or better last year. They had a chance to win most of their games last year even though their star QB was out. Even Mike Ditka agrees that they were robbed a couple of times because of BS calls. This years team is much improved.

2. The Lion's have so many weapons on the field, the running game will not be missed. The Vikings have arguably the best running back in the league and they are 0-3. Barry Sanders, the best to play the game in my opinion, only made it to the playoffs once.

3. Stafford took hits left and right last week and still kept going and pulled out the win in the end. Every team has it's weaknesses, and the Lion's strength outweighs this one.

The Lion's are force to be reckoned with this year. I understand why most Lion's fans are skeptical this year because we have been duped so many times before. But this is the best team we have ever had. Believe this year.

Oh please give me a break with this Stafford is injury prone. Aaron Rogers went out last year twice with concussions, Brady was out a ton the last few seasons, Brees has had recurring shoulder injuries - Vick has YET to complete a 16 game season. But somehow people wanna call out Stafford. Know your football and shut your yap! QBs get hurt in this league (unless you're Favre or Manning) who's hurt for the first time ever

Stafford played four years at QB in the SEC without missing a game. Pros are different I realize but this is a tough kid, who's worked his ass off to get in pro shape. He's good
