Marvel Masterpieces 2020

These are just out. Same ridiculously expensive "Premium Format" release. Painted by David Palumbo, son of Julie Bell, who did the very rare 1996 set. I'l buy a few, but can't afford many.

Not impressed at all. 200 for a box... hilarious. It's a shame what the trading card game has become.

Agreed. Red, Orange, Purple, Metallurgy variants of exactly the same piece of art. Three cards per pack, only one of which is a base card. ebay has cards that are selling for hundreds of dollars! If people are stupid enough to buy them, then I guess this type of release will continue. A real shame. I miss the thrill of buying a box of cards and opening them to see what I got. Didn't care about sketch cards or anything else. Just loved seeing my favorite characters in beautiful painting.

Let's not forget the vast un-numbered golden signatures. I watched a few openings. Nothing to report.
