The rare (and cheap) Ebay gem...

Hellblazer was always one of my favorite reads and I've always liked this piece by Mr.William Paquet. I just never got one due to the price tag on it. The standard DC $195. Diggin thru Ebay over the weekend led me to this baby for $42 - $47 shipped!! Never opened. I gotta say I'm liking it even more.
2 drawbacks though.
1) The paint is fairly muted for my liking. In the proper hands the demons could be unreal. John doesn't look bad but the coat has a greenish tint instead of just the tan he normally has on. And the bar could use some help.
2) The bar is hollowcast and has something rattling around in there! Oh well, it's not like I'm going to be shaking it around. I give you John Constantine Hellblazer.

Great find! I actually believe my LCS has the Preacher statue. Wonder if they'll give me a decent discount on him, considering they've had it there for about 5 years!

I've seen a bunch of these Hellblazer statutes on eBay selling for around the $40 mark in the last month. I couldn't resist one either for $35 ($44 shipped). Are the stores just unloading their inventory? Or is just the eBay cascade effect (downward in this case)? What gives?

Diamond just did a big sale clearing out a bunch of stuff........i bought a few as well and a bunch of other stuff....loaded up on the spy vs. spy bookends......best deal there this time.........thanks diamond.....
