There's a difference between photo's and a video...
The pics / video were by the same collector.

That what my post said... stills from a video are not the same as a picture.

But let me make it clear one more time though.

The guy who has Cammy in hand posted pics on Facebook. dao2 shared those pics here. But the guy also made a vid on youtube. I shared the vid here.

And then we have you saying stills of the video were already shared here.

The pics dao2 shared are no stills from the video. They are pictures the guy took. He made pictures but also made a vid. And now you are explaining to me it's from the same collector while I never said it was by another collector and my post literally states 'Guy who posted his in hand Cammy on FB made a vid'.

Society is getting to the point to where what's obvious is obfuscated.

I'm a statue neophyte so pardon in advance but I had a few questions as I was very interested in this piece.

1. I read the measurements but is it really about 13" for the base? It doesn't seem like that based on the proportions of it if it is 28" high. I ask because I was trying to fit it on a dresser so I was trying to see if I had adequate room without it being awkward or risking it falling.

2. When this comes to America are there large shipping charges attached to it as well? Just trying to calculate in advance as I've never bought a statue before.

3. Is there anything else I should keep in mind while buying? I'm sure there are things you don't think about until later once you get it.

Thanks again for any constructive feedback.

1. Yes it does appear to be about 13".

2. Assuming you live in the US relatively no, but if you live on the east coast I would hazard a guess at something like $50-100 (for 1).

3. They are much bigger in person even if you see pics with a scale reference I think you may find yourself surprised. Also you may want to make sure you have a place to store the box. If you ever have to resell it prices will drop dramatically without the original "art" box, styro and shipper. Also be wary of buying anything without original styro, I've bought 3 statues without the original box, all came broken and not just small easy to fix breaks. Also if you ever have to move it would make transport easier. Also you may want to make sure this is in an acrylic case or something of that sort to keep dust off of it, it's more difficult to remove with MM but a pain either way.

Gotcha. I did use a tape measure beforehand and 13" depending on how you position it would take up almost the whole space. That's why I had asked about it.

I'm definitely on the east coast so I'll keep that in mind. I remember someone posting here that it would cost them around $1100-$1200 hence my asking.

I have a storage facility I can place the box in and I always like keeping original packaging. I wasn't going to get an acrylic case but I might consider it now to help protect it. I'd have to see how much room I have.

Pardon my ignorance but what is MM? Do you have a company you recommend for getting cases? I was going to just look on Amazon but I thought I'd ask in advance.

Thanks again.

Frequently used acronym for 'mixed-media'. Refers to anything on a statue that is NOT sculpted (technically, when more than one material is used). E.g. Leather, pleather, metal...but most commonly - fabric.

Gotcha. So essentially keeping it clean is harder with extra fabric and materials.

Makes sense and I will do it. Thanks!

On a positive note, the guy who made the video with Cammy says he truly loves it. Even more than the Chun Li one. That is satisfactory to hear.

When I first saw the render I was hesitant of it because of the face and was going to buy the SF5 Cammy with the divekick but I'm glad I held out for this instead. It looks awesome.

If you have a local place that can do it that may be best to save on shipping, if not I have purchased from here in the past https://www.casesforcollectibles.com/

Cammy looks good but I don't think she looks better then chun imo. Pricey too.
