Like? They don’t honor their pre-order?

Bit fuzzy and this is all second hand so take it with a grain of salt. But IIRC someone had posted that they tried to cancel something with them and they wouldn't refund the payments they made to them or something to that effect (not just the processing fee). Then a bunch of people in the comments started also saying negative things about the store as well.
I don't believe not honoring a pre-order was one of them though. People do get salty over things sometimes though (even if nothing wrong was done) but really they don't do anything special over another store so I rather go with the two that I do know are well respected (SpecFiction and Secret Compass) as gemmint doesn't offer anything special over them anyway. I guess you didn't really have a choice while securing this one though.

Yes I read about the cancellations they didnt want to refund the 30% deposit, the boss of gemmint answered about that on facebook.
Like you said, I didn’t had the choice, the time I discovered the statue it was sold out everywhere...
Hope they will deliver...

Oh yeah that was it, they wanted like 30% of each payment or something. What did the store owner say in the end? I didn't keep up with it.

It's tricky. XM Studios (and other company) ask for 30% deposit, but Gemmint ask for less when you pay mensually (maybe 10% don't remember) but in fact if you want to cancel, you loose the 10%, of course, but also the 20% missing if you started to pay mensually, to cover the 30%.
Seems it was not clearly explain to customer, this is why it gone crazy on facebook.

Yeah that is fair, but they should really list the deposit on the page. How are you supposed to know that?
