Ouch $239 USD to ship to France. Plus u will have to pay customs fees and taxes. Not a good deal if u ask me? You should try your Local comic Store.

I am french and I have the same problem.
for aspen statue + 1 comic, aspenstore propose me UPS worldwide saver : $195
or UPS worldwide express SM : $202
Thus i contact aspenstore by email and now I wait for an answer.
but i think it is holiday on US this week-end. So i willnot have the answer quickly

Actually they only charge you once it's ready to ship. I read their FAQ's to make sure and that's what they said for preorders. If they charged me right away I wouldn't have ordered through them.

International Customers - AspenStore is working on new shipping procedures right now. The shipping quotes/prices you are seeing are not correct and will be much lower. Working to resolve these issues ASAP.

Shipping will be much cheaper and most likely through USPS. I am confirming shipping costs and the site will be updated. No customers have been charged for any deposits yet, and final shipping charges will be emailed to you once updated and await your acceptance.
