The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Con Sketches

Hey all,
I was wondering what the best way to ask an artist to do a sketch is? Do you just go up and/or come back another day when they're not busy signing autographs (assuming it's a well known artist)? Do you bring your own supplies (sketch book, paper, etc.) that you want them to draw a sketch on? I would think it would be such a hassle to bring your own, for example, 13x19 paper and carry it around with you for the CHANCE they'll draw a sketch (which may not even be that big). Would it be better to email them before the con hoping they could have a few sketches prepared?

What do you guys think?

It all depends. Some great tips, tricks and stories can be found in the 'comic art/gliders' section.
