Absolutely AMAZING!! We used to do all that by hand when I was a kid. And of course no cement ties.
John Henry would be astounded.

very cool, I have been within half a mile of a train track my whole life. A train track runs threw the property I grew up on (so many stand by me like stories of walking down the tracks into the woods and etc camping out, just no dead bodies lol) my grandparents house was down the road from train track, both my houses in Florida were down the street from train track. Now I am back at my house in GA which is next door to the property I grew up on so track is 100 yrds away. Actually walked on the track today me and my brother while talking about the old days lol That track is barley used these days goes to one warehouse thats down the road. A friend of my brothers is the main engineer for the train and he will stop the train and get off walk up and BS with us for a while then jump back on the train and off it goes lol
