Not surprised at all by this. It's the most unique 1/4 scale venom available in terms of pose and design. Loved it from the beginning and wasn't sure why people hated on it so much. It's kind of funny how Sideshow gets so much crap from the forum sometimes when they do simple poses, but then when they try something outside the norm like this they also get people complain about it. Obviously people like it if its selling so well. I'm glad to see it.

I was really, really wary of this pic in pics, but I ordered the EX anyway and I absolutely love him in person. I'm glad I got him and have no regrets.

I own this and like it. but it did anything but sell out quick.
I think the shipping prices on the P1 scared some this direction.

Maybe a coming movie pushing some hype daisies. I still prefer P1 and XM versions but them are pricey.

or people just being inpatient. That one has been delayed so many times already. While, I did find the SS version tempting for sure, most of my collection is 1/3 , so the XM and Prime fit better for me.

They may call it 1/4 scale, but in my opinion it's way bigger. Maybe it's right if you like your Venom as big as the hulk.

yea, they may call it 1/4, but like the XM (which is also oversized), it's more like 1/3.

I think XM Studios Venom is really overrated.
Pose is generic. The head shape is way too narrow on the McFarlane head and the eyes are way too big. He's over-scaled compared to all the other Villains in the line. The only things I like about that statue is the Eddie Brock head and the paint.
For Carnage though I like XM. This is just one of those rare cases where I prefer the Sideshow one to XM Studios.
