I thought for sure it would eventually be some kind of amazing piece by Sideshow or I would give in and just let the Trinity on Ducati take my grail spot.
I had the opportunity to get Trinity lately, and in the end I didn't want it. Yeah, it is hard to find and her price is high, but the statue just didn't talk to me.
I can gladly admit now, I have finally found my true grail, this statue of Fathom.
I don't think you can get much better than this. Sure, they can make her in 1/4 scale, that would be amazing, but it isn't necessary.
The sculpt is top notch, paint is amazing (the boxed pic version does have slightly brighter colors), but I am still happy with it.
The base...awesome. Her face is beautiful. I love the fins. Everything about this one is great and Aspen should be ultra proud.
I think she was definitely worth the wait and I think Michael Turner would have been very proud of this amazing depiction of his character.
I will be picking up both versions (if there is a second) of this one.

I am with ya, I have bought a other few pieces in the past but I never really feel for them, I have always sold them when the price is right. But I see this as a keeper and my grail as well.

All,
Glad everyone is liking the statue! I was so anxious to finally get it announced and released, hoping all of you would appreciate the hard work that went into its creation. Thanks for not disappointing!!

There are nothing to worry about Frank. The pieces you released have set some pretty high standards.
There always very nicely done.
I always look forward to them as there is no one can can sculpt the female form like Dene. Keep up the good work.
I am still saving for a Kiani piece.

Frank, hopefully you're pre-order system allows us to make a non-refundable down payment to ensure we get one, and to pay the balance due when she arrives in your warehouse. That would help a lot of people I think!
