I think it sold out so quickly online because of the pre orders taken at SDCC, I had a chance, but don't know where he was from (now I do) so I had no interest in it, I just want the regular which I like MUCH more.

When I receive the Mech I'll probably look for someone to repaint the hair red and the belt blue since I sort of liked that look.

I hope the zangief I receive looks very similar to the protype at the sideshow booth in San Diego Comic con because i saw it in person and it was perfect...so hope they don't stray to far from that, skin tone wise

It kinda sucks that Mecha Zangief at SDCC wasn't accurate. I liked the contrast of the red hair and beard with the silver body.

I know it will be great when it arrives, but I got used to him as a redhead, lol.

Jerry, when you get time, could you throw up a picture of the regular Gief from the side. I want to see the seamline on the final product. You had mentioned you were going to tighten it up.

Yeah I also got use to the red hair. He looked real cool and freaky looking which I loved.

Don't care for the blue belt but I did liked the red hair, the way it contrast to the silver. I think most people got use to the look of the red hair and no painted nails from the prototype.

Jerry, any reason why you changed it? Is it possible to changed it back to red? Even just as a highlights or the tips? lol. Not sure if it's accurate, I googled it, but I don't think I've seen Zangief with painted red nails Can you ask the factory to transfer those red paint on the nails into the hair instead? If not, is it too late to request for the nails not to be painted?

The way it is now is pretty accurate to what Capcom wants.

It really wouldnt be hard for someone to modify if they so desired.

Jerry, do you have info on the ES of the regular version? How come sideshow hasn't announce it yet?
