The movie mask looks really bad here which is a shame. We knew going i that it had way too much texture and sculpted damage, but that has only gotten worse with production paint. I don't mind the head looking more upwards personally, but I would definitely prefer it were more straight.
SWS production mask for comparison...

Is "SpecFiction" still selling Prime1 stuff? Can't find it on their site anymore.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Granted, it's not like this on all the other statues, but the QC is surprisingly subpar so far.

This probably has to do with total ES 1050 and many heads and arms. Difficult design and the assembly line has to keep moving (prob to fast)..
Really hope I don't get one of the quasimodo's. I already have my own assembly line with statues who need 'small' fixes.

With this particular head, his dreads are pushing to hard against the base of the shouldercanon. Prob not all dreads will be glued to the exact spot and angles (maybe this also increase the head tilt).

New head tilt is ruining the presence of this piece.

It is most obvious with the open mouth portrait.
Really don't understand/know if these kind of 'small' changes are done with some design after thoughts (in consultation with Prime) or
factories decide things like that during production of the various molds and e.g. pegs and holes don't fit, so they 'create' more room or easier designed parts.
