Ok, tried to take a good pic under normal lighting outside on an overcast day but this seems to be the best I can do. I am 3 feet away from the head. There are subtle color around the cheeks and eyes that you can see
Am I being too harsh?

I think it looks pretty close to the proto, but I was never very fond of the proto.
