The narrowness, the paintjob... it's all awful.

Its original date was December of '21.

I really don't think this is a bootleg. This is the real deal. Just look at the base and the overall sculpt. No way this is a bootleg.

The paint is horrendous and the headsculpt is nothing resembling Cavill. I'm not rolling the dice for 900. I'm out. I'll contact Todd and pray that he shows mercy for my deposit. Otherwise, I'm out 90. Easy come, easy go, I guess.

This will be the FIRST statue I've ever cancelled based upon production pictures.

- This statue wasn't supposed to be released until Q3 of 2022

- Its Weta's First Time attempting this line. I think they'd put in more of an effort to make it better than those pictures

- Speaking of those pictures, I get this nagging feeling this is some sort of bootleg.

- As Stefan said, the source of those pictures also seems suspicious

If these pics are legit, I'll just wait for the Queen version.

Isn't the point of a non-refundable deposit mean that it is .... you know.... non refundable?

Hopefully, this is how it looks at it's worst. I would prefer a perfect paint application but I can get that redone relatively cheap.
Getting the proportions changed, that's something else.
