Are they limited to game license designs? Not sure I'd like any from them unless you go back to MvC2 games or older

Marvel Gamerverse. Sub-brand started in 2017 - so games since then. I think 'Marvel v Capcom Infinite' kicked it off.
I think the designs are pretty GD awful, but I think most current stuff is, so maybe I'm just old and jaded.

Nah, they were definitely better back then lol. I just wonder what art they can use, don't see Wolverine in Infinite and most characters look really bad in that game, well Spider-man and Venom look Ok I guess

There are other current games, I think. Don't follow a lot of the mobile and massive multiplayer stuff personally.
