I like the base design. Nothing too fancy, but it works well.
Question is, what does PCS have planned? assuming the license works out.

Not at this price for 1:6.
It's an ok piece, I like the butcher knife one, but I agree if you own the Gecco piece, you're set. Like Shaun said, let's see what PCS does. It also irks me you have to buy the definitive edition just to get the lowered left hand. I don't care about the weapon swap out or death pose but I think the knife pose would look good with the lowered hand.

Konami has final approval for all their licenses just like Nintendo. They're very picky so who knows. Solid Snake went through the ringer before a final design was settled and that was before F4F did their own changes due to fan complaints.

+ Getting the License!
+ Amazing Video Teasers, Reveal & Launch.
+ Resin Statue.
+ Variants to Choose From!
+ Packaging Box Design is Sick!
+ All 3 Together Forms another Triangle,
and Conveniently Spreads out to Display!

- 1/6 Scale.
- Another PyramidHead.
- No Trio Package with Incentive Bonus.
- Not on Sideshow.
- Better Poses.
- Desire for an Even More Nightmarish,
HyperRealistic, Veiny Paint job.

Buying all 3 at the end of the week!
Very nice, F4F. Thanks.

Being 4 cans tall, i'd assume that's 1/4 scale not 1/6
The base is half a can tall, the statue is 3.5 cans tall.

It's not bad but I agree that it's a bit uninspired, plus the pricing isn't helping it either. Still waiting for that Richter though...

After careful consideration,
Think I'm gonna pass on the Standard.
Get 1 Exclusive, and 2 Definitives!
Would be nice to have all 3 Authentication Cards,
but I have to settle to at least get both Sticker Badges,
and more importantly, 2 Death Scene Pyramidheads.
Why? If you don't know, you better ask somebody.

It's 18 inches with base so definitely not 1/4.

Price is $580 for the UK.

DS War is a much better statue for the price...i only hope Deaths price isn't ridiculous by the time he goes up for PO.

I haven't played SH2 in a few years, but is there a significance to the hand pose they chose? I don't recall it whatsoever, or him even holding the knife that way.

I noticed that the Mezco Toyz take on Pyramid Head also features the hand design that appears
to show his little finger separate to the adjacent fingers, which appear to be joined together
inside a glove. Maybe his hand is deformed for some reason? could it be the limitation of the
Playstation 2 that lent a hand (lousy pun) in the way the hand design ended up the way it did?

Pyramid Head appears to hold weapons using his thumb and three main fingers,
leaving his little finger sticking out, similar to what some darts players do.

LOADING: Image(s)

This sketch by the artist behind Pyramid Head clearly shows the finger next to the
thumb was suposed to be separate, not bunched together with the adjacent two
fingers. It has to do with something to be the limitations of the Playstation 2 given
the route they took when it came to the 3D model.

F4F got it right by sticking with the same logic, as he looked in the game.

He’s wearing little surgical gloves. I find the statues arm/hand placement odd. Like he’s blind trying to feel his way around a room. When he’s not having his way with mannequins, his left arm is usually by his side when he’s dragging his knife around for balance. Maybe they were trying to recreate the scene when James hides in the closet and he tries to open it.
