Looking forward to this, may be my first XM piece. I think the Bowen full size version is still the best Colossus out there so far.

I think the Bowen statue captures John Byrne's rendition of Colossus while the Kotobukiya statue captures Jim Lee's Colossus. Sideshow's diorama is nice because of the Sentinel head.
Hoping XM's Colossus is not about ripping off parts of a Sentinel again.

This piece has potential to be so awesome. Fingers crossed for a strong action pose, and a more stoic pose with his arms down and a calm face. The silent, but strong images of Piotr are always some of my favorites. I also hope XM is sensible and doesn't have the shoulders of his suit come up, I want them to lay flush with his body.
IF XM can finish up the entire set of "teams", I'm half tempted to buy the male characters to get a full Gold and Blue set. Means they would need to make another Brown Wolverine though....

I have very high hopes for Colossus. I want an action pose where he’s destroying something. So far I like every X-Men character that they have done. I think Mystique could have been better but we will see what she looks like painted.

Derail: Paint can’t save Mystique for me. From the waist down, the pose is poorly executed “cutesie”. It’s not sexy or in character for Mystique. She is strong, confident, wicked assassin and XM should not be taking her in the direction of a super expensive Koto piece. Leave the flirty cutesie to Koto.
And back to Colossus
