Part 3 is the first appearance of hockey mask Jason. Why are you guys whining about not wanting that in statue homage??

part 7. My favorite Jason.Kane Hodder's first time behind the mask and he's awesome.

Perhaps because they already gave us one?
But given Part III is my favourite, I don't mind seeing a double-dip...

I think we've all blocked part 5 from our memories, so its like part 6 is actually part 5, part 7 is actually part 6
I don't mind another part 3, just hoping that it brings something new to the table that the other one didn't have. Which I think is going to be difficult. The last one was pretty good.

This would be hard to beat and it was only $280. What a great deal back then.

Which is a damn shame because 5 is a great entree in the series, Roy had some of the most brutal kills in the franchise and the idea of a copycat killer is so much more interesting then a zombie Jason fighting psychics and the God awful garbage that 8 and beyond were. If the franchise continued on where 5 ended I think it would've been great.

the most brutal butchering was at the hands of the mpaa. They hated the Friday series and 5 in particular got hammered.
