Really great stuff; I'm terribly disapointed in Stevens work; I waited a very long time on his list and when my name came up, he told me he only wanted to work in oils.

Really? I'd rather have an artist be up front then to do something his heart wasn't into.

I thought I'd seen some recent pieces which were copics unless they were older pieces? I didn't realise that Chris was only working in oils (but that wouldn't make me disappointed in his work ). Chris?

...you and Royd are right - I should have said I was very disapointed in his decision-making - his works are still lovely but I had wanted something in copics....as for Royd's statement, you are right, I would not want something the artist's heart wasn't into ....I just wish he would have let me know the second he made the decision and not waited until my # came up and then told me --

I apologize for diverting the thread because Royd's pieces are wonderful and I didn't mean to take anything away from that --

Hey Mike,

No problem mate, I'm hoping Chris will confirm that he's only working in oils because I didn't realise that (but my memory is a little sketchy at times). Best,

Royd
