tpb recommendations?
Hello. I was wondering if anyone could recommend some tpbs. Anything from the 70s to the present. I've read most of the 'defining' stories, such as Watchmen, Dark Knight Returns, Crisis, etc.
What are people's thoughts on the following:
Infinity
Marvel NOW Avengers/New Avengers/Secret Avengers?
I enjoy some of Hickman's work, but not all.
I recently ordered some of the Marvel 'Epic' collections, of Spider-Man and Thor.
I appreciate any recommendations.

Scalped, nice mystery story.
Blue Estate, cool crime story.

Thanks for the recommendations. I have read a few of those in tpb form and others in single issues. I hadn't heard of the Dr. Strange one.

Irredeemable (and to a slightly lesser extent, the companion story Incorruptible)
The Boys
The Sword
The Secret Warriors
Superior Spiderman
Saga
East of West
Marvel Civil War
Witchblade
Artifacts (best read if you have read some Witchblade or Darkness so that you know some of the universe)
Darkness
Superior
Nemesis
Super Crooks
Secret Service
Old Man Logan
Planet Hulk
World War Hulk
Batman: Year One
Batman: The Long Halloween
... I will give you more, but gotta take another look at my shelves and long boxes, but those are all fantastic trades.

As per your avengers question...admittedly, I've never been a fan of Hickman but I did give his Avengers titles a shot and found then to be complete junk. I can't tolerate the way the guy tells a story. If you liked his previous work you'll probably eat it up though as its his usual incredibly long-winded storytelling.
I can add 2 great reads by Scott Snyder: both American Vampire and Severed are/were amazing reads. I'm also loving Saga too.

I found Infinity to be disappointing and there's no reason to read Hickman's Avengers if you aren't going to read Infinity as well.
I'll add my endorsement to risingstar's and dset's recommendations.
Fables
Y the Last Man
Sleeper
Incognito
Fatale (the final trade will be coming in a few months)
All New X-Men
Annhilation
Star Wars: Legacy (NOT the second series)
