Where did they post there’s photos?
The sculpt is the exact same. They say the base is more smokey so it’d be cool if they show us photos with the internal light off and some studio lighting on so we can see if the explosion is painted differently.
Otherwise this is the same exact sculpt in every way. Even the stolen pose on Gwen lol. I’m still in for it, although they could’ve used the time to make some better decisions on it like that weird sign and weird looking webs. It’s like they heard the consumer outcry, but interpreted it wrong.

Ok it’s December, still no photos with the internal lights off. We need a little more Queen. Unless the Gwen pose is still causing them issues I don’t know what the holdup is at this point.

I wanted to like this but it really feels like a huge wasted opportunity. A bit of a mess of a base that despite the activity of it really does seem like it's lacking character. Whether it be the total lack of easter eggs or the generic, fake-looking sign. It just translates to me as more of an oversized nightlight than a statue.
In addition, I'm sorry but I hope more people start to call out Queen Studios when it comes to their under-sized products. It happens more and more often with them, whether it be this being sold as 1:4 scale (it's not, it's 1:5) or other products like the 1:2 scale Aqua Man or the 1:2 scale Mach 1 Iron Man. Seriously, Queen is either awfully erratic at accurately gauging scale or purposefully lying about it to sell what should be a cheaper product at a higher price.

How do you know it's 1/5?

I LOVE this statue - and disagree with you on every single point. But, okay. As for the other statues you mention, I defer to your expertise!

I hope this doesn?t come out 1/5 scale and really is 1/4. Part of why it?s so epic despite its flaws (they never actually changed the base after acknowledging people had issues with the base, they just added lighting smh) is because its 1/4.

I love that he uses the Thanos blade to open the box, knew that would come in handy.
