This is one scary demon. Something encountered in Hell.

Ripping it's own guts out......Freaky.

Yeah, that story was the 1st thing I thought of, too, from back in the school days.

While no sign of other A listed characters like Jean Grey and Daredevil. So while these new lines are indeed new and refreshing their existing lines are becoming old and stale.
First, outside of Bats, Supes, WW, Hulk, Spidey and possibly Cap and Iron Man since their movies, anyone else is B list at best (IMO ). Daredevil can get B but I'd put Jean, as much as she's in my top 5 favorite X-Men, at C.

But I wouldn't say the other lines are getting stale. I started collecting in early 2011. I was able to get decent deals on older stuff but I missed a lot. There will always be someone like me to buy a newer version. I have Punisher Ex on PO. I'm definitely getting the new Cap. And although I managed to get a Spidey Com Ex and Wolverine PF, when SS decides to redo them I'll be more than interested.

DC is still young in its license. There was a time when Marvel PFs were released maybe 3 or 4 per year...give DC time.

There needs to be a good mix to reach the most amount of fans, not just the fans who don't want repeats. That includes original sculpts for those who just value interesting statues, like The Dead, new characters, like Apocalypse and some Hobbit PFs are rumored, and characters already released that people love, which is why there'll be a bunch of Caps, Spideys, Captain Jacks and various Skywalkers while other characters have to wait a while longer.

Plus we're dealing with artists. There's a money and marketing side to it, but with art there's also passion and inspiration. An artist will work on what they feel like working on when they feel like working on it. In the Mara Jade preview they said they regularly start projects, stop them, and resume later when they feel it's right. I suppose we'll get a DD and Magneto when they feel like doing it.

Interesting piece, but I'd never buy it. Cash and space are just too limited to even consider jumping on board lines like this for me.

Agree, one of the best sculpts ever. Too bad it's a random license.
