Damn, that much 5 years ago. Haha, I think we can expect 8Gs for this one. I Think I'll wait for the hologram projecting R2. That's cool they used fibreglass for the original.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Yeah I was figuring him to be around $6,500-$7,500!! I really think it would be cool if they would offer like up to 20-30 month payment plans so normal collectors could acquire this instead of the millionaires... Lol I would so buy this if I could get payment plan to around $300-400 / month
I think the remote is really cool but for around $8,000 grand I expected you to use remote control and his head would spin around, now that would of been awesome!!

$1450.00 more than the T-800 Endoskeleton ?
I'd have thought the T-800 Endoskeleton takes more effort and man hours to create than an R2-D2
One cool aspect has to be 'metal dome' not to mention lights & sounds. The base is rather good also. Fact is, I don't have the money for this (although I did enter the compo - May the Force be with me ;D )

Damn. Not going to spend that much. Have to admit, looks damn nice and didn't expect it to be 48 inches. I don't think they stated if it was fibreglass or not. Congrats to whoever gets this and show some in hand pics of this! Anyone getting this on the forum?
