There's a life-size Harley Quinn as well that looks pretty nice. Batman's face is really grim and creepy, tho.

Not sure the point of this post, but I will say for 1299, that thing looks pretty sick. One thing I don't understand about this life size neca figs is why can't they put them in a natural pose? All they had to do was make him stand like the prime 1 fig or something like that. As it is, he looks like an unposed figure.

When did Gamestop start selling statues?

Thought their business was all about buying your game for $1 and selling it for $50.

Lol. They must be diversifying.

and trying to sell up your pruchase. I swear I have the hardest time just giving these guys cash and nothing else. Always want a number or email or sign up for something. Im like "just gimme the damn game"

Year or so, maybe a few?

I went in the other day looking for Resident Evil...they damn near had a toy/collectible aisle. They certain got more since I seen them carrying stuff like Fallout Pipboy.

In my opinion...avoid gamestop if you can, lost respect for them about a decade ago. Anything I can get at I mine...I can get at Target / Walmart, as far as games go.
Lines at midnight? Go to the 24 hour walmart, same game under the shelf or in the back waiting to get unloaded :/

They've been getting more into selling collectibles ever since digital games started to become a thing. I guess they've seen a decline in sales of hard copies so they're adapting. They actually carry a pretty wide variety of statues and figures. Wouldn't be surprised if we see them selling hot toys and sideshow statues next.

We have a gamestop on base that actually has the Gentle Giant 1/4 scale Iron Patriot. They carry a bunch of DCD, Koto, Diamond select stuff, even have exclusives. They had a exclusive DST X-force Deadpool, sold out though. Decent looking Spider Gwen too. I am not much of a gamer so I don't stop in much though.

Interesting. Haven't been to a GS in years because I hate their policies; only giving trade credit, huge markups, selling used games as new, etc... and I buy games digitally now.

An interesting choice of item to diversify into. I guess it makes sense as it dovetails nicely with "collector's edition" versions of games which now all seem to come with statues and other trinkets.

Still won't go to a Gamestop.

they've been selling statues for at least 3 years now. Some very good deals if you live in the US. Their sales are second to none.

Unfortunately the Canadian side (EB Games) sucks.
