Too many years now, sick of Arnold. He just wants to return to the easy things that will put money back in his pocket after screwing up so badly in that other career he crashed dived in.
The 82 film is a fabric weaved into my youth I will always treasure.
But that doesn't make this a given for me I'm afraid. And I don't think Milius is involved. Besides that film, amazing for it's time, and again I treasure it, is no longer what I would want today. It's not particularly accurate to the source materials of course.
As a Conan fan, I really want better than this, we barely have any Conan tales on film, let alone good ones. And so here we are leaping to his old age just for Arnold to have a movie? When there are oceans worth of tales to tell of his youth!???
I was all for this 15-20 years ago when the King Conan talk was going around, but Arnold couldn't be bothered then. Well I've moved on.
