Rodriguez 'talks' about directing a lot of movies. Red Sonja, Deadpool, John Carter, Barbarella, a live-action version of Fire and Ice, a new animated Heavy Metal ...

He's like Guillermo del Toro who's also constantly being linked to directing something cool.

I'll believe that R.R. is directing Johnny Quest when it's cast & starts production & there's a photo of him in the chair.

I'd love to see a Jonny Quest movie. I hope the Rock is out of the running to play Race Bannon though. Race Bannon was one of the coolest secret agents on TV in the 60's in my young mind, and I hope they cast him right. The Rock just isn't the guy for the part, IMO...

Yeah I do hope this actually happens this time. Been in development since late 2000s.

He has been off Red Sonja since 2010. Heavy Metal still in the works but now as a TV movie on his El Rey network. He is still attached to direct Fire and Ice, so it's either that first or Jonny Quest.
