Surprised both the special edition and regular went out of stock simultaneously on their site; was holding out hope to grab a special edition once I saw more production pics but if in hand pics say it’s incredible and I can still find the regular in stock, I may just grab that...

I don't know you're location. I'm US based and pre ordered her from "Secret Compass" which is out of Colorado. They are a reputable distributor and still have her regular (one I ordered) available.

It might also be worth contacting Queen to double check the stock status.
They were marked out of stock a while back too. I shot them an email back then to ask and they said it was still available to pre-order (despite what the website was saying).

Interesting, I emailed them and never heard back. I’ll try following up, but I’m guessing it’s still available.

I’m in NY so I’m sure specfiction or secret compass is a better option but I’d prefer the special edition if I’m going to drop this kind of money, lol.

Really wish we could see a straight on shot of this new and improved bust. I'm still tempted to order this thing, but need more than just a profile view to persuade me.

I think I remember it taking a little while to receive a response.
I guess if you're waiting for in-hand impressions first, there's no real rush. It's certainly looking pretty good, though.
I'd be curious to know how many pre-orders they have. I suspect it wasn't quite as popular as they had anticipated.

Well they asked on their FB post "What do you think of the improved Alita?", so sounds like they probably made some tweaks after all the negative feedback they got before.

The Hot Toys figure looks good, so i might go for that.
I talked myself out of the Prime 1 piece. The follow up piece on roller-blades by Prime 1 really caught my attention. Again, space and money. I am still thinking on this one
