exactly.. I'm no pro photographer and these are in low light man cave with warm temp Ikea lights and a iphone.. Maybe a real pro will shoot it soon or youtube.

Either way, I think the best way is if you want her, buy her and if it doesn't meet your expectations, send her back..

My opinion is, she's obviously not prototype level, nothing ever is anymore and she's really not that bad. I put in a SSC ticket to ask about the tarnish and said other owners have the same.. we shall see. I bet its the type of paint used and it got tarnished a bit during storage and shipment. Some may be worse than others. I expect they'll probably just throw a credit my way.

The difference is huge compared to the prototype--and the washed-out paint isn't just an effect of the flash. Not the exact same angle, but you can see that the decrease in quality isn't acceptable (at least to me).



Hopefully they're not all like this, but I don't see the $425 value in this one.

Considering the photo/lighting quality (apologies to those that posted ) I don't think it looks that bad. The tarnished star on her chest is weird though, for sure.

SS needs to stop with the delicate and beautiful eye shadow on their protos if they aren't even going to bother trying in production.

Man I remember when I got that with a 10% off coupon and people thought it was still overpriced. One of my best purchases. No Captain Marvel has beaten it yet IMO.
