CONGRATS TO YOU! THIS right here is why I'm going to wait Izerol. I was watching several of them on eBay and they were selling for this price range including shipping.
Don't get me wrong, this Spider-man is really nice and I would really like to be one of the first people to own it but at this price, I just can't do it. I'll play the waiting game since I'm sure the ES will be really high for this one. I might bite if SSC makes an accompanying Doc Ock for this statue.

I'm torn. I prefer the pose of the previous PF, but the texturing on the costume on the new one appears better.

This pic illustrates what I mean about texturing. The blue areas of the costume on the previous PF look flat, while the same areas on the new PF have texture. Like the new Superman PF, this gives the appearance of a fabric costume that's actually sculpted.
The question is, is that worth the extra $$.

I'm a huge Spidey fan, but I get can't get behind this piece. It's not my cup of tea.
The previous PF was fantastic. I'm also excited about the new XM Spidey, especially considering there won't be any neck seams as they're including three head/torso pieces.

solid point, i would have a difficult time choosing between the two. personally id probably lean towards the og, that pose is pretty special. if the new one was $75 less it would be much more tempting

The texture on the Doc. Oc. arms is what's bothering me the most. It looks heavily frosted instead of having that nice metallic sheen. It honestly looks like they had an airbrush malfunction while applying the gloss coating, reminiscent of Captain Phasma.
Also, had the collector sculpt not been given that weird winking design, I may have opted for this one. The McFarlane portrait is also off. IDK There just too many weird issues.
The texture on the suit IS nice though.
Was hoping this would be the definitive Spidy piece, but it's still not quite right. I think I still prefer the older version.

My favorite spider man statue to date, but for 640, not sure about this one.

Pass. The previous PF is much better IMO. This new one does have the better base, but I don't buy statues of characters just for the base.
