I guess I don't see how "classic" is classic at all. Both seem pretty modern.

Probably some modern classic maybe?
My oldest son will be happy. He collects the whole line.
It's a good thing that Sideshow seems to want to continue this line.

Same pose concept as the adi granov-kotobukiya Thanos, granted the detail is better (love the portrait for the sideshow version) if only it was 1/4 scale instead!!

This looks fantastic. I like both versions and the portraits are killer. Unfortunately, I don't collect in 1/5 scale. I have the EX MAQ and the OG XM Thanos. I'll make do with that. What I'd really like to see is Sideshow release a Death PF.

At 1/4 scale, maybe. At 1/5, I can't imagine it will be more than $600-$650.

And that price alone is madness
That’s colossus money , which will be massive compared to this 1/5 scale thanos
Anything more then $500 will be an easy pass
But hulk was more then $500 so I expect this to be somewhat the same , which is ludicrous IMO

I don't disagree which is why I projected around $600.

Borrow money from a pessimist, they don't expect it back.

Yea, the only differences will be paint and shoulder pads from what I see. To their credit SS won't be dicks and make each portrait exclusive. Hats off for including both portraits in each version. But they could've easily made switch out shoulder pads and chosen one paint scheme and released one version of Thanos.

They should of just made it 1/4
Iron studios did two 1/4 movie statues almost back to back. They messed up
