Dark Reign Promo - White Queen by Stephane Roux

I can finally show this!

I arranged to get this piece from Jason Schacter, Stephane Roux's rep a couple weeks before NYCC. I picked it up along with one of the two prelims (the other was already claimed by the time I had seen it) but I haven't been able to post them until now. I got word today though that it had been seen in print, so I uploaded it to my CAF. As you can see from my collection, I'm a GIANT Emma Frost fan, so being able to get this was really cool. I gave up getting a bunch of pieces at NYCC to get this one too! Thanks Jason!

Very, very cool Emma by the incredibly talented Stephane Roux - congrats mate! I have a huge regard for Stephane's work so I say well done

Jason's also a great guy to deal with and I hope to catch up with him (and Stephane ) again some day. Best,

So you got the prelim and the final published art?!? NICE! I agree with Royd... I'm a big fan of Stephane's work and had the pleasure of meeting both him and Jason at Heroes Con last summer. Both are among the friendliest guys in the biz.

Congrats again on such stellar pickups! I'm partial to the prelim art but I guess Emma didn't look as sinister as they'd like for a Dark Reign promo.

Thanks for sharing!

Jason and Stephane are really awesome guys. Stephane also did the Pirate Black Cat for my Pirate theme (you can see it in my CAF gallery). Stephane said he had a blast doing it and he'd be putting it in his next sketchbook.

I too am a little partial to the prelim and I suspect (I could be wrong though) Stephane was too. But, that's the nature of doing commissioned work, especially for a publisher. There was another prelim too, much more like the finished piece, but someone had reserved that by the time I saw it.

Nice! I really dig his work. Lots of character in it. This is a great example of that. Congrats!
