Need a good zombie book suggestion

I am flying to Singapore and India in a few weeks and wanted to pick up a book to read on the long trip. Looking for a good zombie book along the lines of day by day Armageddon or world war z. Any suggestions?

Try brian Keene 'the rising' or 'dead sea'. Both good dark reads pretty graphic and he knows his zombies.

I've been so busy with work and home life that I haven't really had the chance to read anything new recently. Did you forget about this thread?

I'm right in the middle of Toby Venables' The Viking Dead, which is excellent so far. 976 AD, & a hard-core Viking explorer & crew go up-river in No. Europe & discover a forgotten castle that they should have left alone. Venables did his homework 'cause the book has a strong historical base. The Viking information is very interesting & the zombies (drauger in Norse) are wicked-cool. This one is very different from the usual..

You've seen my zombie-fiction thread here, right? Lots of good stuff recommended & discussed there. - http://www.statueforum.com/showthrea...zombie+fiction

John Maberry's Patient Zero and ZA Recht's Morning Star Strain are really good. Maberry creates a really good character in Joe Ledger and writes fantastic action. Morning Star is a compelling easy read about a global outbreak.
