Regardless of how bad these films are, it's obvious from the money they made that someone likes them.. So I really don't see DC changing directions anytime soon.
Suicide Squad - $746 million
Batman vs Superman - $873 million
Justice League - $657 million
Wonder Woman - $821 million
Aquaman - $943 million
Shazam! - $326 million
None of those movies above can really compete with any of the Marvel Movies from a story standpoint. Even the so called popular DC movies like Wonder Woman and Aquaman had very weak stories... but to each their own...

If this was a Harley Quinn solo movie, I would have been more excited for this. I wouldn't really have mixed feelings as I do now.

Looks like they're trying really hard to target the female viewer, problem is I don't think there a big female viewer base for this type of movie... And if guys pass on it, there's a really good chance this movie will bomb hard.
From the trailer and posters it defiantly feels like a girl power movie and I'm sure there will be lots of male bashing to go around. I think if they would of gone a darker route and used some really dark humor in it, they would of had a winner. But this movie just feels way to light and fluffy. I'll be surprised if this movie makes more money than Shazam!.
