The Iron Studios, XM and now this PF, it’s time to retire the tentacles base after this and just make a proper Doc Oc.

The original Comiquette is still the only 1:4 Spidey I own and like. The previous PF has a nice pose, but I couldn't stand the tacky explosion effect on the base. The other two Parker PFs don't cut it for me, nor did the Iron Studios or the upcoming XM piece, which I have seen in real life.

Here's hoping for someone else to do another big Spidey I can't resist, seeing as how it's the only Marvel character whose comics I still collect and all. Romita Sr. eyes, please. At least the XM has that going for it.

The question is, is that worth the extra $$.

To my eyes, this illustrates why the Spiderman PF (farthest right) is superior and the best. Sculpt, pose, design, color, shading, winner. I was originally late to get on this piece from the first batch when it was on waitlist and was sweating how awesome this looks until Sideshow pulled their bait and switch on the next batch with price increase and fully stocked.

But for those collectors looking for something different, cool for you. My dislikes on this are the pose and terrible head sculpt/design. Details and base are really good though if Sideshow can pull off the QC.

I don't even consider the Miles piece. No interest.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I like it don’t love. Big Spider-Man fan but not sure if I need another red/blue Spidey. I love that they finally gave him a nose in 1/4 scale.

Price is also good I guess (by today’s standards )...goes to show how overpriced Mr Freeze is.

I'm going to buy this one. Not a huge fan of the EX head, but there is a possibility it could grow on me.

I love that he's in a standing pose. Personally think this is the best spider man statue to date, love everything about it except the price.
