Horrible seams: check

Base that makes absolutely no sense: check

Way too dark colors and shading: check

It also looks a bit out of scale, it's pretty large. Anybody has a comparison pictures with the PF?

Way too many flaws to even qualify for a comparison with the former PF.

The seam and the way the eyes are sculpted killed this for me . I love the older PF and still keep that one

The seam is the only bad part to me. It’s one of those things people will be able to live with or not. It isn’t noticeable at all from some angles and appears worse on the the EX than the regular.

I prefer it over the previous PF, personally.

It didn’t appear out of scale for me at first glance. I’ll have to pair it up with some other PFs and see how it looks.

I also like it more than the previous PF. Spidey himself was awesome on the last one, but the exploding base was a bit much for me. I give SS credit for doing something different, but it didn't work for me.

That was my problem with it as well. Spidey himself was excellent and well sculpted. I feel that the suit could have used more texture but SS really hadn’t been doing much texturing in their sculpts at that point in time.

Not really a fan of this Spidey and he's my favorite character. Don't care for the XM one either. I like the OG where's he's on the wall and the one before this one. The explosion base doesn't bother me.

All the dynamic poses, lines, textures, explosions, tentacles, expressions, etc...and I still love the OG Comiquette on wall the most.and I have like 7 of this guy in this scale.

Yeah, I still don't think the original Comiquette has been beaten at 1/4, and we're almost 10 years out at this point. And I say that despite some of the problems I have with it.
