Although in the case of Iron Man, an extended edition might actually be inferior. The deleted scenes weren't that great... although to watch them in context in the film might make a difference.

I didn't know anything about that until reading your post. Then the other night, I think it was on FX, they were advertising it with the missing scenes. Not sure what they were as I didn't bother watching it.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a 1.5 release at some point. The studios love to pull that stuff as much as possible

I just hate ordering stuff online. Always have. Although the liklihood of ever seeing this in the store for $9.99 is small, I admit. I may have to break down and go for it. Hell, I think I have $$$ on my Amazon account too. It's been so long...I'll have to check that out!
