Obi-wan Clone wars statue problem
OK, so I was away from the boards when this staue was released and this was a staue that I was really interested in - and still am.
Any time it is mentioned, everyone knocks it, so can someone please fill me in as to what the problem is with this piece please?

The problem is thet when the first images was released of this statue, the head on the statue had a great likness of Ewan Mcgregor. The first images was of the prototype at a con.
When the statue then got released the head on the statue was drasticly changed.

And it wasn't an improvement!
Left is the proto, right is the final product.

Probably the biggest difference from prototype to finished product I've ever seen. Easily GG's biggest blunder to date. I was set to pick this up too but the finished product looks terrible. Wouldn't display it in my collection if somebody gave it to me.

Yeah it's just...there are no words really. Amazing just how far off the final product is, so much so that it looks like an amatuer knock off of the original prototype.

The left picture looks like the real statue, the right as a maquette version.

Wow this sucks, I was just looking at this statue, and the pictures I saw I guess were of the prototype version, and I was on the verge of getting it. Good thing that I ran into this before I did. Does anyone know if they changed the statue back to the way it looked in prototype form, or does the final piece being sold now still look that same?
