I believe that they are "making them to order" or something to that effect. Basically the amount of orders they will determine the ES plus whatever additional numbers they produce as stock. DCD has used this system in the past. It is great for making it available to collectors up front but also gives them collectability as there is not a warehouse full of pieces sitting and saturating the secondary market.

There are elements of this piece that I really appreciate. But alas, I will not buy this as is. As others have stated, I won't get any cloth-mix statues (the metal aspect would be okay). Also, the scale is all off. I would want Bowen scale so I could have this displayed with the (far too few) Bowen scale DC characters (Seinf. Superman, the 3 GLs by Paquet, with Paq's Darkseid, and the others).

The PF's are a different beast entirely from convention pieces of the past. I don't believe that they are meant to fit in with conventional statue lines but will become one on their own.

I do believe you're right. I do just love the idea of this piece but wish (1) it were fully sculpted, and (2) that it were sculpted to Bowen scale. The latter I note b/c DC has not sculpted "Bowen scale" pieces in what seems like an age. If this piece were fully sculpted but in the current "medium" DC scale", I'd skip it still.

DO you think we will see more detail on the Waist belt or Bustier ? I think it needs it.

THe belt looks exactly as it does in the books. And it is a belt so I am glad they didn't sculpt abs through it as they have in the past.

It's the corset that needs the work.
It's just plain ugly and totally out of scale.
