as long as you don't get into collecting ALL the different versions of stormtroopers you will be ok. I collect only the main characters of SW line from GG. I only have one stormtooper bust too. They are all cool though!! Good luck in the collecting!!

Of course he needs all the Clone Troopers and Storm troopers. Also, he needs all the maquettes (including the black & white variants).

lol only if he does want to go broke!! I will admit they are cool, but if he is in it for the main characters and a few supporting cast busts he will have a good collection with money still in the bank. But who knows he could only be collecting the troopers, and of course the maquettes in which case he is in trouble.

Be a completist. It's the only way to really appreciate this hobby.

So what is it then that compells me to spend a fortune on these statues ? I have bought 5 in just a month and I keep looking at more. Is this normal ? I have managed to go 34 years without needing them so what has happened ? I knew Star Wars would haunt me forever !!

5...........that's all!!!! LOL just kidding yes it is normal when you first start this hobby. Mostly because there is so much out there and you want to get as much of it as you can get you hands on.

It will either tapper off as you get the stuff that you really want, and you start to buy just a few here and there.......................or you go insanly crazy and empty your bank account gettting EVERYTHING in site with no stop signs.

You'll figure it out.........eventually

Ebay is the place to find deals, but also look through the B/S/T here! You would be surprised. Or post a thread of what you are looking for!
