Mace to the Hulk's face would not work. He's had acid dumped on him and all it did was ruin his clothes. The best way to stop the Hulk is to get him to change back to Bruce Banner.

Well I know i'm splitting hairs but that's stopping Bruce not Hulk and I don't think Bruce could commit suicide because Hulk won't let him.
