I know the 1/4 Akuma is way off but thought I would jack this thread in hopes Jerry reads it.
I'm hoping for the Akuma ready to fight stomp pose, when the red flames appear around him. Love that pose in the game, and on the Assassins Fist. Just a thought.

We've been asking for that for a while.

I would be so happy.

But Jerry said the new 1/4 scale has a "twist" so I have no idea what that means.

I'm losing hope in the kata pose....

I was totally against it but I have changed my mind mainly after seeing it from this view and style.



The pic in BornFreeSF's avatar realy looks boring and static to me even though it is a signature of Akuma. In game he is always tensing when he strikes that pose which seems difficult to achieve in a statue.

Having him on the balls of both his feet really does make a difference and makes it appear less stoic.

If it can look fierece like this pic though I really am all for it. Plus it can make bunch of statueforum members that are more into Akuma than me really happy.

Unless of course Jerry can twist Capcom's arm and do an Alpha accurate "...Heaven and Earth tremble..." pose. Maybe as a side project in a few years...

I dunno, the way Jerry mentioned he did not want to do the kata pose in 1/3 due to footprint, made it sound like he would be willing to do it 1/4.

Yeah that's what I assumed until he mentioned the statue having a "twist" (or something - I'm paraphrasing).

Then he said the twist is not that it's SFV Akuma.

So I'm kind of lost. What possible twist could it have?
