What is your opinion now that you have it in hand? Was it set up at the con out of the box so you could see what you were getting or still boxed?

Maybe some people's were darker, though base coats are generally pretty regular. From the pics I was seeing I was expecting him to be even darker actually but he was fine with me. I'm happy with him, though I am disappointed with the base though, I was kinda on the fence about using it in the first place though.

You are probably right, some darker as well as personal opinion/preference.
The base should have been stone, but I get that Chronicle is trying to have a standard look for their pieces.
I am making a custom base, it's all done and sprayed with grey primer, needs painted.

thanks guys. i knew that the original price of it was 800, but was wondering if the value had already dropped for some reason

#brian it was out on display, and i love it. his skintone looks a little darker than what im guessing conans should be. is that an issue going on with this peice?but it doesn't bother me that much. we actually never saw him as king conan besides the end. with red lights on him. he could've gotten super sunburned by that time lol. you never know
