I don't think this week's bonus credits scene was any dumber than Captain America's public service announcement or the Avengers stuffing their faces with shawarma. So the above meme is definitely misleading.
People instead should be talking about the introduction of The Wrecking Crew.

i think its more an observation of the mcu as a whole than one specific scene, its a very different universe than it was when this whole thing started is the point. kingpin was reduced to a bumbling bafoon, thor is a complete doofus. the only good thing they have produced post endgame so far is falcon / winter soldier
the wrecking crew was a wasted opportunity imo
ps. im with you on the shawarma thing but i thought the cap psa was funny for the sheer sense of irony

The Marvel world is a grim, dark and violent world filled with blood, sorrow, suffering and death.
And that meets the sunny world of Disney. Nothing good can come of it.

I'd be surprised if this was the final iteration of The Wrecking Crew. If their powers don't get amplified down the road then I agree, it is a wasted opportunity.
Before Avengers: Endgame there was Thor: Ragnarok and the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. Now there's Love and Thunder and She-Hulk. I don't see the MCU as being any more lighthearted than before.

thats a fair argument however i always felt GOTG was kind of its own little franchise until infinity war as they didnt really reference any other characters other than thanos. i think the first had a good balance of humor but the second one they let the leash out on gunn a little too much. i also think ragnarok was purposely testing the waters with a possible new direction. if it had done similar to the previous two thor outings i dont think we would be in the situation we are in now with both thor and the mcu as a whole
