I can't get Mike Burkey's site to open. Anybody know what the deal is? Or am I the only one? I even tried the link at CAF just to be sure and it still won't open.

His site is down until monday. His server went down and his new server won't have him back up until monday.

Yeah, Mike's ISP deleted his domain! As a result, he's moving to a server provided by Bill Cox from CAF and should be up on Mon as Shemp mentioned.

Here's Mike's message to Comicart-L:

"I just put up some killer new artwork in the past 2-8 days...., over 300k
total!!

but my stupid sad domain server people named INFINIOLOGY deleted my domain
service accidentally, and they say they cant find it, and cant fix it.... so
I wont be up and running again until Monday on the amazing BILL COX's web
server.

I'll be set up next weekend for the BIG APPLE convention Friday Saturday and
Sunday in NEW YORK CITY!

if anyone is interested in any art now, before the show, or if you want to
see art in person AT the BIG APPLE show, please email me privately at

on Saturday the great JOHN ROMITA SR. and JOE SINNOTT will be set up with

Gotcha..appreciate it guys. It's my favorite site to look at stuff I'll never be able to afford, so I was worried.

I met Mike Burkey in NY. We traded artwork.
He is a remarkably fair man to deal with, especially if you have something he wants.

I tried to trade with him once. He seemed interested and then I never heard from him again. I guess he wasn't THAT interested. Oh well. He's one of the few guys who gets Kirby art on a regular basis, so I'm sure I'll eventually have to trade everything I own to him for something.
