Final Zangief Sample pics arrived in my email today...I should have the physical ones in my hands shortly.
below are some pics. Check out the real laces on the boots...really puts it over the top in my opinion.
This new factory is insanely good and professional...Its just night and day from the old one. They seem to be working with all the heavy hitters.
The bad part is they are also insanely expensive. Im actually barely breaking even on Zangief when it is all said and done. In fact my sculptor on that project will make more than me ! Their prices are 40% higher than the last factory.
Because i do such small runs this unfortunately means my prices will go up starting with the next statue Sideshow announces.
Im figuring a normal 1/4 scale Street Fighter mixed media is going to start at $300 now. Someone big and complicated like Bison will be $399. Zangief should have been $450
If i were selling 700 pcs that would change things but really with the economy its more like 250-300 pieces.
