I just watched the trailer again in IMAX and I am kind of starting to disagree with people complaining about the likeness. Although the expression is a bit dumb it looks like her from the preview... If the movie is good ill try to pick up both.

The Major holding a smashed up Geisha, isn't that a slight spoiler?

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Her head looks even bigger at that angle. Likeness is still off and they don't look like $500 statues in this pic.

I thought that also, head looks larger, there appears to be a plastic cheapness about them both.
I think / hope it has something to do with the photograph.

I've never known it before,
for something to be made available for PO, the only preview available appears to be in the form of a screen-shot of a 3D render.
I'm curious as to who modeled the statue, as it looks spot on. I wonder if Mtime were supplied with any form of 3D scanned data?

And to add to this. It makes sense for Weta to create statue. It makes less sense for a company to announce a GIT statue, while no other company has, given no one appears to know much about Mtime?
